The Red-and Green Lakes are two small lakes in the immediate vicinity of the Bear Lake. The overall surface area of the Green Lake is 215 m2, the greatest depth is 1 m. It was named after the green shade of the surrounding trees ,  reflected on the water surface.There are picturesque salt rocks to be seen near the lake. The small basin of the Red Lake has been divided in two by the collapsed ground. Its surface area is 1050 m2, the greatest depth is scarcely 2,55 m. The Red Lake was named after the reddish-brown color conferred to it by the rotting leaves fallen in it, the swarming salt warms (Artemia salina) as well as by its high degree of salt concentration.
